Manuscript of the Immense Gaon Author of ‘Ikarei Hada”T’, Florence 1791 – Partially Unprinted
Manuscript. Preface to the Sefer “Se’udat Mitzvah’, in the holy handwriting of the author, the Gaon Rabbi Daniel Tirani, Av Beis Din of Florence, author of ‘Ikarei Hada”T’, from the leading Rabbis and Poskim of Italy. – Florence, 1791 – Different version that the printed one.

This appears to be a draft of the preface to the Sefer “Se’udat Mitzvah”, which had been printed in Florence in 1791. Written by the author himself, in Italian script, the wording of the last part of the preface are different than that which had actually been printed, with each version containing things missing from the other.

The lines which arק “implanted” between the lines were printed in parenthesis.

Please see the Hebrew listing for biographical information on Rabbi Daniel Tirani.
