Megillas Esther - Artistic Holder - Special!
Megillas Esther on parchment, in nice and elegant Ktav Ashuri, set in a magnificent handle of carved bone.
The Megillah:
Parchment height 8cm. case length 21cm including the parchment. Housed in a sewn cloth mantle, not original.
Handwriting is nice and elegant. Parchment is slightly creased, but preserved, and the ink is in good condition.
The handle is carved with artistic scrivener work on the bone, with a topper of a three-storied crown and scepter, also in artistically carved bone.
General condition very good.
