Letter, Kol Koreh, for Vaad Hayeshivot by the Admor the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin, with his handwritten signature and stamp - Stolin, Adar 1 1938


The letter was written by a scribe and hand-signed by him. 


At the beginning of the letter, the Admor writes: ידוע לכל טיב המוסד ועד הישיבות בוילנה שנוסד על פי יזמת הגאון הצדיק קדוש ישראל מוהרי"מ הכהן בעל החפץ חיים זצ"ל ועמו יבל"ח הגאון המפורסם פאר הדור הר"ר חיים עוזר שליט"א. ועיקר המכוון היה שכל בר ישראל בגלילותינו יהיה לו חלק בתוך כלל הישיבות בהפרישו תרומה כללית תשעה זהובים בכל חצי שנה. והנה לדאבונינו הגדול לא נתקיימה התקנה במלואה... ".


The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin [1889-1942] the fourth son of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Karlin [also known as 'Der Frankfurter' or the 'Yanuka']. Served as Admor in Stolin after the passing of his holy father and there established a large yeshiva. Many admired him and sought his advice. Was renowned for his vast knowledge of the secrets of the Torah, as well as of secular fields of knowledge. Perished in the Holocaust.
