= - Letter handwritten by the Gaon and Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Binyomin Wolf Hamburg author of Sha'ar HaZekenim of Furth, about the students of his esteemed yeshiva.  In 'the small note', as he calls the responsum he wrote, he writes about the halacha Medivcha ad Atzarta and also refers to Hilchos Chol HaMoed.  Later he writes that he does not write at length since he about to undergo bloodletting and is hurrying to the physician.  The entire letter is handwritten and signed by him. At its end he sends his regards to his son, Michael Wolf.  The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Binyomin Wolf Hamburg Av Beis Din of Furth [1870-1950] the son of the Gaon Rabbi Lipman Hamburg a disicple of Rabbi Wolf Ulman and Rabbi Meshulam Zalman Hacohen the author of Bigdei Kehunah. For many years he headed the esteemed yeshiva of Furth and was eulogized by Maran the Ketav Sofer.  [1] 'small note'. Slightly erased and wear to the left margins. Wear.
