Letter by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Naftali Teitelbaum of Nirbaotr to Rabbi Moshe Blau the leader of Agudas Yisroel in Jerusalem, about writing the history of Moron the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld the Rav of Jerusalem. Lag BaOmer 1934.
In the letter, the Holy Gaon writes to Rabbi Moshe Blau that a while ago, they had both met at the baths of Marienbad and then he had told him that he was intending to publish a book about the history of his Rav Mara DeAra Yisroel Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. The Holy Gaon of Nirbator asks to be sent a copy "since I yearn to see the history of this great person".

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Naftali Teitelbaum Gaon Av Beis Din of Nirbator [1867-1938] one of the greatest rabbis of Hungary in his generation. One of the leaders of the fighters against the Zionist Movement. The son of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Yokel Teitelbaum Av Beis Din of Volova, the son of Rabbi Shmuel Av Beis Din of Gorlitz the son of Rabbi Eliezer Nissan of Drohovitz the son of the Holy Rav the Yismach Mohse of Ohel. His mother was the daughter of the Holy Gaon Rabbeinu the Yitav Lev. He served as the Rav of Nirbator for forty years. Was admired by the greatest rabbis of the generation. Was renowned for his Rabbanus, pure prayers and the yeshiva he had established in his town, where Gedolei and Chachmei Torah grew.
