Levushei Serad, on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah, by the holy Rav the author of the Arvei Nachal, third edition. Harobashov, 1819. 


Sefer Levushei Serad, Dinie Shmutas UShvuras Atzamos, Dinei Re'ah and Dinim Melukasim belonging to Yoreh Deah, authored by the holy Rav Rabbi David Shlomo Eibschutz the author of the Arvei Nachal. The press of Menachem Mendel Finkel Stein and Moshe Tzuker, Harobashov, 1819. Third edition. 


The holy Rav Rabbi David Shlomo Eibeschutz (1755-1813) author of the Arvei Nachal. One of the greatest Tzaddikim of his generation. Served as Rav in Chorsakov, Bodzanov and Soroka. Was a disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov, the holy Rav Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf of Tsharni Ostroh and the holy Rav Rabbi Meshulam Feibish of Zabrizh author of Yosher Divrei Emes. He immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Safed, hiding his greatness and working as a teacher. When he lived in Safed, he finished writing his composition and sent it to his disciple Rabbi Yehuda Leib Margolis to be edited and printed in Mahlov. After the Sefer was published and became well-known, there were Morei Hora'ah who refused to give a Semicha to anyone who was not well-versed in this Sefer.

Renewed binding with gilt lettering. Written on the binding "Harobashov 1814, i.e. 1819". Stains, filing perforations, fair-good condition.
