Heshiv Moshe Shut, by Maran the holy Gao author of the Yismach Moshe. First edition, Lemberg, 1866. 

Lengthy gloss and ownership signature by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Sholom Sofer author of Sefer Toras Chaim the son of Maran the Machaneh Chaim and the Rav of Pest. 


At the beginning of the Sefer, a foreword by Maran the holy Gaon the Yitav Lev of Siget, the author's grandson. In addition, an approbation by Maran the Divrei Chaim of Sanz who writes that the printing of this holy Sefer brings closer complete redemption. 

In his lengthy gloss, he cites from Marana the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and discusses the words of the Yismach Moshe. 


The renowned Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Sholom Sofer [1855-1921] author of Toras Chaim and the Rav of Pest. The son of Maran the Machaneh Chaim. 


[1], 38, 82 leaves. 35 cm. A tear to the edge of the title page affecting the text of the foreword by the Yitav Lev. Aging stains. Very good condition.
