Lengthy Holy Letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe - Close to Yom HaHillula of the Rebbe the Rayatz - 1966, with a Story and Instrcution by the Rebbe the Tzemach Tzeddek

Lengthy letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe - in the days close to the Hillula of the Rebbe the Rayatz - with a lengthy story by the Rebbe the Tzemach Tzeddek on the 100th anniversary of his passing and an elucidation of its content. The 13th of Shevas 1966.

In the holy letter that was sent to the managment of the Ezras Temimim charity and mutual aid organization of Bnei Berak, the Rebbe confirm the receiving of the report and additional matters of the Gemach and elucidates the following story: The Rebbe the Tzemach Tzeddek used to see his grandfather Rabbeinu HaZaken who used to put all his doubts to rest; yet, there came a time when he couldn't see him and it grieved him. One day, he met a simple pious man and the market who asked him for a loan. The Rebbe decided that after the prayer service, he will give it to him. When he reached the synagogue, he began thinking about the Ma'amarim speaking of the importance of Gemach and charity and with effort managed to give the man the loan he requested even before the prayer service.

It was then that he suddenly saw his grandfather Rabbeinu Admor HaZaken saying that the gates of the Heavenly halls are open to him.

The Rebbe writes: 'The stories of the presidents of Yisroel are guidance for all those taking the right path ... as said the Sages in the Mishna that Gemilus Chassadim, a man eats its fruit in this world and its principal is kept for him in the world to come'.
