The personal copy of the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Elazar Rosenfeld of Oshpitzin the son-in-law like son of Moron the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Stamped twice with his stamp 'אלעזר הלוי ראזענפעלד חונה פה אשפצין בהה"צ מקאמינקא זצוקללה"ה'


The Holy Rabbi Elazar Rosenfeld of Oshpitzin [1862-1943] the son of the Holy Rabbi Yehoshua of Kaminka and the son-in-law of Moron the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Was also known as Rabbi Elazar Oshpitziner. For approx. thirty years served as Rav and Abd of Oshpitzin, eventually immigrating to the Holy Land living there until the Holocaust. He opened his Beis Midrash at the center of the Meah She'arim neighborhood and many of the residents of the city followed him. Was renowned in Europe and the Land of Israel as a lofty Tzaddik who caused many people to repent.


1-112 leaves. Missing several leaves at the end ofthe book. Non-original binding. Stains and wear, mainly to the title page and the last leaf. Some of the leaves are bluish paper. Good condition.
