'Levushei Serad', elucidation on the Shulchan Aruch, Taz and Magen Avraham. Authored by Rabbi David Shlomo Eibshitz author of 'Arvei Nachal'. Printed by the grandsons of the Rabbi of Slavita, Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschil Shapiro Press, Zhytomyr - 1853.

Two volumes, a separate title page for each volume. 32, 79 leaves. 22 cm. 


The Holy Rabbi David Shlomo Eibshitz (1755-1813), author of 'Arvei Nachal'. One of the greatest Admorim of his generation. Was well-known as an Ilui already in his youth. Authored Megilat Setarim, a composition on Mussar matters and commentary on the first verse of Tehilim and the sefer Mesos kol Hamitablim on the Megilat Eicha. Served as a rabbi in Chroskov, Bodzanov and Soroka. Was one of the disciples of the Holy Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotshov, the Holy Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf of Tsherni Ostroh and the Holy Rabbi Meshulam Feibish of Zabrizh author of 'Yosher Divrei Emet'.

Stains, restorations on some of the pages, wear to the margins of the pages. Minor text missing on the last page. New binding partly detached.
