Purchasing jewelry and gems: The auction house provides a description of the diamonds and gems to the best of its understanding and based on the knowledge and experience of the auction house experts. However, the auction house does not undertake to accurately describe the items in terms of stone size, color, level of cleanliness, condition (including description of defects) and whether it has undergone treatment or painting and the buyer is responsible for inspecting the diamonds and gems before sale. For the avoidance of doubt, no option will be given to cancel the purchase of jewelry, diamonds and gems or return them after purchase, even if the description does not match the item.
In this auction like the previous auctions, unsold items are not offered for direct sale after auction ends! Please bid and participate during the auction!
The sale commission is 20% + VAT on the commission only. in a week time from the auction.

Pay attention! Today the insurance for registered mail stands for a maximum coverage of up to NIS 150 in case of loss/damage. If you wish to add insurance, options will be opened accordingly at the time of payment (increment to 1000/2000 NIS - items/jewelry accordingly).
2. Courier mail of Israel Post for a package of reasonable size (up to 50X50X50 cm) and up to 20 kilos at a cost of only NIS 45. (Warranty and insurance according to the terms of delivery of Israel Mail packages only! - Today the insurance stands for a maximum coverage of up to NIS 500 in case of loss/damage).
We try to get the deliveries out of the gallery within two business days at the latest. The delivery time of the items depends on the Israeli post and global post work. Each buyer who pays on delivery, will receive a detailed email with the tracking number and a link to the tracking on the mail site accordingly.

In cases of complecated items and fragile items, the auction house may take an additional cost to ensure the proper packaging of the items.

Martin Emanuel Philippson ( 27. Juni 1846 in Magdeburg; ā 2. August 1916 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf)[1] war ein deutscher Historiker.
Philippson war der Sohn des Rabbiners Ludwig Philippson und der Bruder des Geographen Alfred Philippson. Nach der Reifeprüfung (Abitur) in seiner Heimatstadt begann Philippson an der Universität Bonn Geschichte zu studieren. Später wechselte er im selben Fach an die Universität Berlin und schloss dort sein Studium mit einer Promotion ab.
Anschließend ging er als Privatdozent zurück nach Bonn und konnte sich dort bereits 1871 mit 25 Jahren habilitieren. Vier Jahre später ernannte man ihn zum außerordentlichen Professor. Als Jude wurde ihm in Deutschland eine Berufung auf ein deutsches Ordinariat verwehrt, so dass er 1878 einen Ruf an der Freien Universität Brüssel (Université libre de Bruxelles) annahm. Dort lehrte er als ordentlicher Professor für Geschichte.
Für die von dem Historiker Wilhelm Oncken herausgegebene renommierte Buchreihe Allgemeine Geschichte in Einzeldarstellungen steuerte er die beiden Bände Westeuropa im Zeitalter von Philipp II., Elisabeth und Heinrich IV. (1882) und Das Zeitalter Ludwigs des Vierzehnten (1879) bei.
1890 wurde Philippson durch die allgemeine Versammlung der Professoren einstimmig als Rektor der Freien Universität Brüssel gewählt. Universitätsinterne und ideologiegeladene Spannungen bereiteten ihm jedoch Schwierigkeiten, insbesondere mit der Studentenschaft, die ihn als Rektor ablehnte. Für diese demokratische und liberal-fortschrittliche Jugend galt Philippson als zu konservativ. Nach Ausschreitungen der Studenten, wo einzelne antideutsche Sätze ausgesprochen werden könnten, beschloss er, sein Amt freiwillig aufzugeben und zog sich auch von seinen Aufgaben als Professor zurück[2]. 1891 Philippson ließ sich in Berlin nieder und war fortan als freier wissenschaftlicher Schriftsteller tätig.
In Berlin half Philippson mit, die Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaft des Judentums zu gründen (1902). Von 1896 bis 1904 war er Präsident des Deutsch-Israelitischen Gemeindebundes und betrieb dessen Anerkennung als Rechtspersönlichkeit. Er war Vorstandsmitglied im Verband der Vereine für jüdische Geschichte und Literatur und wurde auch bei der Gründung des Verbands deutscher Juden 1904 in dessen Vorstand gewählt.
Im Jahr 1913 befürwortete er in der Allgemeinen Zeitung des Judenthums die Schaffung einer jüdischen Universität in Jerusalem insbesondere als Ausbildungsstätte für die dortige Jugend. In den Auseinandersetzungen über die dort primär zu nutzende Sprache plädierte er für Hebräisch, Arabisch und Deutsch und gegen die alleinige Verwendung des Hebräischen, womit er sich jedoch letztlich nicht durchsetzen konnte.[3]
Philippson war verheiratet mit Ida Ephraim (1855ā1940). Sein Grab befindet sich auf dem Jüdischen Friedhof Berlin-Weißensee.
Salomon Kalischer (geboren 8. Oktober 1844[1] in Thorn; gestorben 22. September 1924 in Marienbad) war ein deutscher Physiker.
