Zwi Bassey - collection of 25 photos of professionals performing various types of work in Israel, with the photographer's ink stamp on the reverse, dimensions: 18x12.5 cm. *Zwi Bassey - born in Romania, he was a member of the Dror Habonim leadership in Romania. During the Second World War he was involved in rescuing Jews and preparing youth for immigration to Palestine. He worked in the Ministry of Labor, training manpower and converting academics. He devoted his spare time to the love of the land, taking trips, and photography. His photographs were sold to publishers and public institutions (such as the Hebrew Encyclopedia, the Israeli Television, the Szold Institute, and more).
