Magnificent 17th-century Spanish archimesa chest, composed of a rectangular structure with multiple drawers and a central door, placed on a contemporary walnut side table. The piece displays a rich decorative program, with geometric reliefs, architectural carvings, and gilded polychromes that intensify its sumptuousness. The interior includes secret compartments, typical of the chest type, intended for the safekeeping of documents and valuable objects. The lower table, with turned legs, completes the ensemble, which constitutes an exceptional example of Castilian Baroque furniture art, a symbol of prestige and refinement.
