Small kohl container in globular alabaster calcite - Very squat, on a rounded base, with a short cylindrical neck ending in a wide, carefully polished, rounded lip. Translucent honey-beige stone with a homogeneous patina and fine inlays. Deeply hollowed interior, preserving tool marks and traces of use. Minor chipping on the rim. Good condition. Egypt. Middle or New Kingdom. 2nd millennium BC. Height 7 cm x diameter 3.5 cm. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipment: no import duties apply within the EU.
