Persian vase with Chinese influences, Persia, 18th century - Glazed and painted ceramic. Measures 29 cm in height. Elegant 18th-century Persian globular vessel decorated with rich, oriental-inspired ornamentation, combining fantastical birds, exotic animals, flowers, and stylized plant motifs. The piece shows a marked influence of Chinese porcelain and oriental decorative arts disseminated through Asian trade routes, reinterpreted within the Persian ornamental style. The decoration unfolds in delicate ochre, blue, and cream tones on a reddish-brown background, creating a refined and visually rich decorative effect. The presence of long-necked birds, fantastical felines, and exuberant floral motifs, treated with great compositional freedom, is particularly noteworthy.
