Small-format genre scene depicting a shepherd, two llamas, and a tree with a spreading crown, arranged on an oval base decorated with incisions that suggest the terrain. The verticality of the tree structures the scene and balances the horizontal arrangement of the animals, while the shepherd introduces the narrative and human element.
