An exceptional bowl produced in the renowned kilns of Jingdezhen during the Northern Song Dynasty, crafted from the characteristic Yingqing porcelain, prized for its refined, translucent sky-blue glaze. It features an open profile with thin walls and a ring foot, decorated externally with an elegant molded relief lotus petal motif that extends to the base, while the interior remains smooth, highlighting the extraordinary purity of the glaze. The glaze develops a delicate natural crackle that accentuates the depth and luminosity of the surface, leaving the rim and the foot ring partially uncovered, a characteristic feature of the finest Jingdezhen productions of this period.
