Italian School of the 16th Century - David Triumphant
Carved and gilded wood. Dimensions 93 × 55 × 25 cm. David, with his torso bare, holds a triumphant pose, with one arm raised while his body seems to move gently. The detailed curls of his hair and the folds of his golden clothing capture the attention, highlighting the mastery of the carving. The use of gilding in the sculpture adds an air of majesty.
