Spanish School of the 17th Century - Salome receiving the head of the Baptist
Oil on panel. Dimensions: 98 x 62 cm. This dramatic scene, characteristic of 17th-century Spanish painting, shows the crucial moment when Salome receives the head of Saint John the Baptist on a platter, accompanied by figures in solemnly static attitudes.
