Large Virgin of the Rosary made of polychrome wood, a magnificent example of Portuguese colonial art in southern India, specifically in Goa. The work presents outstanding work in the folds of the clothing and in the detailing of the hands and face of the figure. The original polychromy has been well preserved, highlighting warm tones and gold details.
