Jesus Preaching in the Temple - 17th Century - Flemish School of Antwerp
Oil on copper, Hendryck Van Balen Circle, measurements: 99 x 80 cm, total, with frame. This oil on canvas painting depicts Jesus arguing with the doctors in the temple. The composition includes multiple figures in a dynamic scene. The rich colors and the use of light and shadow to highlight Jesus are typical techniques of the 17th century Baroque.
