Rare and exceptional complete Surgeon's kit for Amputations and trephinations, Mahogany, Bronze, Ebony and Steel. Carrière à Paris, 19th century
Mahogany box finely finished in bronze, with surgical steel instruments with handles in fine ebony finishes. Included are items for practicing tourniquets, meat cleavers, brain trephinations, and medical bone saws as well as extraction supplies. Closed box measurements: 10 x 41 x 20 cm
