Exceptional 18th century Italian console table in gilded and lacquered wood, with a Siena marble top from the same period.
Elegantly decorated with motifs of flourishes, trophies and Chinese pagodas inspired by the fascination for Oriental Art of the European courts during the second half of the 18th century. It preserves a magnificent patina and the original gilt and lacquer, marble top from the same period in perfect condition. Measurements: 87 x 127 x 52. Origin: private collection from a noble palace in southern Portugal.
