Exceptional Augsburg Imperial Porcelain Centerpiece from the Imperial Manufactory of Vienna, 19th century
Marks corresponding to the year 1810. In porcelain, glazed "blue sky", very good condition, decorated with fine vine motifs on a gold background in the center, due to its exceptional quality, it would be an example very possibly made by the Imperial Manufacture of Vienna, being customary for the Habsburg dynasty to give delicate porcelain pieces to members of royal families from the rest of Europe or as diplomatic gifts. Very good condition, without hairs or restorations. Attached showcase in methacrylate and base in golden wood. Origin: Ex. Empress Eugenia de Montijo, old Durancamps collection, measures 12×30 cm.
