After Toulouse Lautrec - Moulin Rouge Painting
Item/Description: Iconic Moulin Rouge oil on canvas painting after the famous poster by French artist, Toulouse Lautrec. Vivid primary colors. Signed lower left: T Lautrec. Simple wood frame, rope for hanging.
Material: Oil on canvas, wood
Dimensions: Image size: Height: 20"; Width: 14". Framed: Height: 22 1/2"; Width: 16 1/2"
Condition: Canvas coming off board, slipping down in frame. Surface use and age wear includes discoloration, triangular pencil marking, staining, buckling. Free of rips but nail holes around periphery where canvas was nailed to board (nails no longer present). Scratches, surface grime , scuffs to wood frame. Staples coming away, aging to string.
