ארץ מִדְיָן היא חבל ארץ ועם המוזכר במקרא ובקוראן. לפי המקרא, המדיינים הם צאצאיו של מדין שהיה צאצא השישי שיצא מאברהם לאחר פטירת שרה, מפילגשו קטורה
המדיינים התיישבו בצפון מערב חצי האי ערב, בחלק ניכר מהחלק המזרחי של ים המלח (אשר מאוחר יותר נושב על ידי העמונים, המואבים והאדומים) וכן בערבה. בזמן בו מתרחש המתואר בספר שמות, שטחם כלל ככל הנראה חלקים מחצי האי סיני. באזור זה הם שלטו ככל הנראה מהמאה ה-12 עד המאה העשירית לפני הספירה
היום, הטריטוריה העתיקה של מדין נמצאת בחלקים מערב הסעודית, דרום ישראל ודרום ירדן.
