הוצאת המשרד הארץ-ישראלי של ההסתדרות הציונית, דפוס ס. שושני וא. איתן, יפו, תרע"ט 1919.
"מפקד אוכלוסין" רשמי ראשון לישוב העברי בארץ ישראל, נעשה בתקופה בה הסתיים השלטון העות'מאני בארץ והחל המנדט הבריטי. מתוך דברי ההקדמה של ד"ר יעקב טהון: "עבודה זו, של חבר משרדנו מר מאיר וילקנסקי, מכֻוֶנֶת היא לנסיון סטטיסטיקה של יהודי ארץ-ישראל. כל חקירה סטטיסטית היתה עד-כה נעדרת. הכל התבסס רק על השמועה והאומדנה. בגנזי הממשלה הטורקית לא נמצא שום חומר סטטיסטי. רק הישוב העברי החדש היה מאסף מזמן לזמן מספָּרים שונים"
