Rabbi Yissochor Ber, son of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman, was the older brother of the Vilna Gaon.
He was known in Vilna by the name Reb Ber - Reb Osher's. According to 'Otzar Haseforim' listings of ben Yaakov, Rabbi Yissochor authored a number of essays that remained handwritten. Only one essay is known to have been recently printed. He passed away in 1807.
