Burgos school from the 16th century. Circle of Diego de Siloé (Burgos, 1495-Granada, 1563) San Sebastián. Sculpture in carved, polychrome and gilded wood. The saint represented in the scene of his martyrdom, tied to a tree and with the wounds of the arrows, despite the lack of these. Young and beautiful with delicately sculpted hair. Magnificent work on body modeling and anatomical treatment. Possibly it is a work by Juan de Lizarazu, a sculptor disciple of Diego de Siloé, there are analogies with the sculpture of San Sebastián on the altarpiece in the Chapel of the Annunciation in Burgos Cathedral. 73 x 28 x 20 cm.
