Map created and engraved by Hondius to add to the Mercator Atlas, whose plates he acquired in 1604. Castilla la Vieja, up to León and Logroño; Castilla la Nueva and Extremadura. Parts of: Navarra, Aragon, Valencia, Murcia, Andalusia and Portugal.
Three cartouches in cornucopia for: Title and date, crowned by the coat of arms of Castile; graphic scales; Explanatory note of meridians and parallels. Toponymy in Latin and Spanish. vintage colour. On reverse, description in Latin.
