This work will be included in the Reasoned Catalog of Nestor's drawings currently in preparation.
D. Daniel Montesdeoca director of the Néstor Museum confirms the authenticity of this work, dating it to the period prior to his French stay, between 1927 and 28.
This and other works of the same characteristics, are painted in Las Palmas and they travel with the artist to Paris, in this way Victor Forbin, has access and collects in his article "La Faune Marine des Iles Canaries. Aquarelles de Nestor", Magazine L Illustration (Nº 4564- 88 Année- 23 aout 1930), similar works from this period, close in their fact to the watercolor that is presented.
