White jade ‘Elder and poem’ plaque, Qing dynasty
Carved white jade, with subtle reddish and amber flecks. It is rectangular, with cut edges and rounded corners. One side shows a short poem, while the other side shows an image of an old man in a long robe sailing a small boat on a calm lake. With age patina. With custom-made box.
