Michel Kikoine (Réchytsa, 1892 - Cannes, 1968), of Russian origin and Jewish descent, was an expressionist painter who exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne. His paintings were acclaimed at his exhibitions and, especially in summer, he painted landscapes in the south of France. His fellow contemporary artists were Chaïm Soutine and Michel Kikoine among other Jewish artists of the School of Paris.
