Pair of jade lacquered wood panels, Qing dynasty.

Pair of carved and assembled wood panels with jade and hard stone applications on the obverse. The composition is made up of different carved pieces that represent valuable objects: a baluster vase, with decoration of scrolls carved in relief, which has flowers inside; a footed censer with a lid with a lion on top; an elephant on a rectangular base that supports a "gu" vase on its back, and in turn has a banner with auspicious plaques hanging on it; and below two joined jade rings.

The wooden board is within a golden frame that is Also assembled is a gilded outer frame shaped like a millstone that has two handles at the top. The intermediate frame has four other carved and polychrome wooden plates in gold and red. They are located two at the top and two at the bottom and represent in relief scenes with children playing inside a box with a lattice bottom.

Lastly, the back panel has painted in gold and polychrome two matching scenes that represent mountains in the background, a river with rocks, boats, pagodas, bridges and trees around it, and at the end children playing.
