An important large bronce figure of Guanyin, Ming - The bodhisattva is shown seated in padmasana on a lotiform throne while holding a willow stem in the raised right hand and a cup in the left hand. A serene expression with partially closed eyes is framed by elongated earlobes and floral pendant earrings. Her finely detailed hair is upswept into a top knot beneath an elaborated crown with a seated figure of Amitabha Buddha on the centre.
