MARY CHRISTINE'S REGENCY CHEST OF DRAWERS, 19TH CENTURY.
Body with five drawers. The upper drawer has a slightly sinuous front with marquetry and lemongrass filleting with a jacaranda base. The three central drawers with keyholes facing each other and fronts veneered in mahogany palm and marquetry. Lateral uprights with turned applications and marquetry. Turned legs. Pine structure and drawer interiors.
Interior of drawers lined in fabric.
There are cracks in the side panels, as well as wear and tear due to use. It has apparently inactive xylophagous holes on the back.
Keys included.
