Yakovlev Boris Nikolaevich (1890, Moscow -1972, Moscow).
The Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. The People’s Painter of the RSFSRIn 1918 he graduated from Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he studied under A.M.Vasnetsov and A.S.Stepanov. Master of industrial and lyrical sceneries. He was one of the founders of the Association of Painters of the Revolutionary Russia in 1922. B.N.Yakovlev’s works are kept in the Tretyakov State Gallery, the State Russian Museum, many regional museums
