Khokhlovkina Elza Davydovna (born in 1934, Donetsk).
In 1953 graduated from Moscow secondary art school, where she studied under A.P. Shorchev, N.I. Andriyaki, A.P. Gorsky, N.K. Solomin. In 1953-1959 studied at V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute under professors P.P. Sokolov-Skal, N.P. Khristolyubov and P.D. Pokarzhevsky. Since 1959 constantly participated in republican, regional, Moscow, group art exhibitions. A member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1960. Since 1965 to 1990 painted pictures by orders of enterprises, went on business trips to Moldavia, Kazakhstan, Kazan, Middle Asia, the Baikal, Sakhalin, and Kamchatka. Painted group portraits, genre and historic pictures, triptychs. Personal exhibitions were held in 1974, 1989, 1990 and 2005 in Moscow. The works of the artist are in many regional museums of Russia and in private collections in Japan, the USA, France, Germany, Poland, Finland and other countries.
