Provenance: Vittorio Bellini (1936-2009) collection.
These two statues - probably to be attributed to an anonymous artist of the Konjo community - convey a clear feeling of full awareness; the detail of the horn on the head is a fascinating addition to a sculptural work already dense with spiritual charge.
