Original Serigraph - Handsigned. Edition 150 Piece. Signed and numbered in pencil By the Author Francesco Nesi was born in Tuscany, in San Casciano Val di Pesa, on 30 September 1952, he currently lives and works in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa in the Chianti hills. It is in fact the Chianti atmosphere that continually inspires him and accompanies him in his paintings, together with the breath of all the Tuscan culture, which continually revisits in places and landscapes. Nesi's atmospheres are clear, colorful and crystalline. Figures connected by a red thread play, alternate, coexist in the perfect space of cities and landscapes as if floating in the colors and gestures they reproduce. The characters are interpreters of a happy dream always accompanied by a pleasantly encouraging and optimistic message in the clear light of magical views. His self-taught painting finds confirmation starting from his city, where he sees his first successes: 1985, Bargellini Prize and personal exhibition in the National Library of Florence. Years later still in the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, where he received the Fiorino D 'Oro award. In addition to Italy, many cities abroad hosted the artist for collective and personal exhibitions: Mekigolia Gallery, California, 2005 Art Antibes, 1997; Art Expo New York, 1998; Batumi "Italian-Georgian Cultural Center", Georgia, 2000; Alexander of Florence Gallery, Carmel, 2000 and 2003; Niewwerkerken, Belgium, 2001; Salon Violette, Paris, 2001; Chapelle Des Jésuites, Chaumont, 2001; Art Expo, New York, 2004; Alexandr's Main St. Gallery, Pleasanton, 2004; Edward Montgomery Fine Art, Carmel, 2004; Phillips Gallery of Fine Arts, San Jose, 2004; Sharjah art museum, Sharjah-United Arab Emirates, 2004; "Dreaming" Museum of Foreight art, Riga, 2006. The events of some importance in recent years are: the book "Dear Monicelli ... artists for a master of cinema" (2007), the artistic collaboration with the magazine "I Giullari ”, the exhibition in Ferrara in the Palazzo degli Estensi“ Altrove ”(2008), and in the same year exhibition of some works in the San Marco Basilica in Florence.
