Pedro Texeira Albernaz (Lisboa c.1595 - Madrid 1662), disciple of the cartographer Juan Bautista Labaña, also Portuguese, who taught in the Academia Real Mathematica of Madrid directed by Juan de Herrera.
His main work was the "Mantua Carpetatorum sive Matritum Urbs Regia" more popularly known as "El plano de Texeira", map of Madrid comissioned by the King Philip IV of Spain and finished in 1656.
