Chibas Yerushalayim provides a fascinating description of Eretz Yisrael, its history, geography and holy places. Printed by the celebrated first Hebrew printer in Jerusalem, Reb Yisrael Bak.
Dedication on title page in the hand of Rabbi Moshe Yaakov, one of the Rabbis of Tzfas, with his signature.
Rabbi Moshe Yaakov served as Rabbi in Tzfas c. 1886-1895. His signature appears with other Tzfas Rabbis in many published approbations and he also served as Shadar (fundraising representative) of the community.
