A BLUE-AND-WHITE 'KRAAK' PORCELAIN DISH
China, Ming dynasty, early 17th century
Circular shape, with a slightly wavy edge, to the center of the bottom a composition with a bird resting on a rock among the vegetation, between the cavetto and the rim a radial paneling with eight larger compartments with stylized flowers and objects alternated with eight smaller ones with geometric motifs.
