Memorias das principaes providencias que se derão no terremoto, que padeceo a Corte de Lisboa no anno de 1755
[FREIRE, Pe. Francisco José, C.O.].- Memorias das principaes providencias que se derão no terremoto, que padeceo a Corte de Lisboa no anno de 1755 / por Amador Patrício de Lisboa.- S.l.: s.n., 1758.- [30], 355 p.; 33 cm.- E. The author is probably the Oratorian Francisco José Freire (1709-1773), who uses the pseudonym of Amador Patrício de Lisboa, although some have already attributed the authorship to the Marquis of Pombal himself. According to Inocêncio, I, p. 53, was the most widespread of which was published concerning that infamous and unfortunate event. Graphically very successful, the edition will have been printed in Lisbon, in the workshop of Francisco Luis Ameno and presents a black and red frontispiece, as well as two capitals and three vignettes intaglio engraved, unsigned. A slightly trimmed specimen, very clean, with carminate cutting of the leaves, with spotted calf lined binding of the time, preserving the original guards (with some acidity). Samodães, 1301. Inocencio, II, p. 407.
