LEONE SERGIO : (1929-1989) Italian film Director. T.L.S., Sergio Leone, one page, 4to, Rome, 4th June 1971, on his personal printed stationery, to Michele Morgan, in French. Leone regrets having missed his correspondent at Cannes due to a radio interview and states in part `I must tell you that I have been very lucky with a « woman-president » so kind and intelligent, and I thank you for your courtesy to me..´ Accompanied by certificate stating that the typed letter provenance is from Michele Morgan´s private archives.
