HERGÉ: (1907-1983) Georges Prosper Remi. Belgian Cartoonist. Best known for creating the series of comics ''The Adventures of Tintin''. An excellent signed and inscribed sketch by Herg, to a 9 x 12 hardback cover of his Adventures of Tintin vintage book `Tintin au Tibet« (1958-59) (''Tintin in Tibet''), in French. Signed and inscribed in bold black ink to the verso of the front blank page, opposite the title page, `To Marie-Louise.. with friendly thoughts from Tintin, Milou and Herg«, a good inscription by Herg who adds beneath the date, 19th October 1976, in his hand. Alongside, Herg has neatly penned a good sketch of Tintin and Milou. EX £1000-1500
