HOCKNEY DAVID: (1937- ) British Painter, Printmaker and stage Designer. One of the most influential British artists of the 20th century. In 1972 his work Portrait of an Artist became the most expensive painting by a living artist sold at auction. A good signed 10 x 8 colour photograph by Hockney, the image showing the British artist in a full-length pose, painting a racing car. Signed in bold blue ink across the image. Autograph obtained by collector in person in Vienna. EX
