AUTOGRAPH ALBUM: An 8vo autograph album containing over 70 signatures by various classical musicians, composers, singers and stage actors and actresses including Leonard Borwick, Harry Plunket Greene (A.M.Q.S. from Eva Toole), Vladimir de Pachmann (A.M.Q.S.), Ernst von Dohnanyi, John Frederick Bridge, Edward Lloyd, Antoinette Sterling and her son Malcolm Sterling Mackinlay, Evangeline Florence, Walter German-Reed, Emma Albani, Charles Santley, Adela Verne, Edward Teschemacher, Arthur Roberts, Wilma Neruda (Lady Halle), Johanne Stockmarr, John Coates, Rosa Olitzka, Hamilton Harty, Nadia Sylva, Johannes Wolf, William Henry Squire, Frank Merrick, Paul Grummer, Wilhelm Backhaus, Natalia Janotha, Marta Cunningham, Lillian Blauvelt, Florizel von Reuter (A.M.Q.S.), Jan Kubelik (A.M.Q.S.), Mischa Elman, Florence Aylward (extensive A.M.Q.S., with words, beginning 'There was a young lady of Riga…..'), Marie Hall, Yvette Guilbert, Frederic Villiers (war artist and correspondent), Giuseppe Creatore and others. The signatures would appear to have been largely obtained in Hastings, East Sussex (most likely during the annual Hastings Musical Festival) at the beginning of the 20^th century.
