French Charles X inlaid secrétaire - 19th century - mahogany veneer on oak frame, all the inlays of the cabinet are boxwood and other fruit wood. On both sides there are inlaid designs representing neoclassical style urn vases in the middle and a pair of angels holding a laurel wreath at the top. On the frontal part of the cabinet there is a drawer in the upper part embellished with a floral inlay, on the external part of the gully has been inlaid Apollo leading the chariot of the sun, in the lower part, on the two doors, are inlaid some lyres, related to the myth of the god of the sun. The internal box is composed of six drawers and tabernacle closed with door all inlaid maple. Dimensions 158 x 106 x 49 cm. Item condition grading: *** fair.
