circular shaped with vertical lobes used as a form of decoration, hinged lid with spinning top final and the handle with elephant ivory athermic spacers (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797).Fully hallmarked London 1889-1890, silversmiths Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall (Ref. Jackson's page 67, Culme page 257 nr. 12444). Base diameter 8.5 cm, height 12 cm, width with handle 24 cm. Weight 610 gr. Item condition grading: **** good.
